About us
City Wharf Serviced Apartments opened on 15th Jan 2007 with the aim of offering travellers unrivalled quality serviced accommodation, with a personal level of service to match, all at a reasonable price. Our accommodation rate works out as little as £15 per night per person and includes breakfast, a welcome hamper with a bottle of wine, free Wi-Fi and much more.
We now have 22 Aberdeen serviced apartments. All of them right in Aberdeen city centre.
Since we opened our first serviced apartments, the harbour area of Aberdeen has seen massive re-development. Two new multi-million pound shopping centres are currently being built within 2 minutes walk. Barratts are building new apartments on Regent Quay and the adjacent streets. Previously empty and decaying quayside buildings have been bought back to life as trendy accommodation or modern offices.

Recent changes
We listen to our guests and act on comments left on our questionnaires, trip advisor or in person. The latest improvements that we are happy to be making for you are:
- We are redecorating many of our serviced apartments over the Christmas break (An annual event).
- Improve heating at 52 Regent Quay. We have now installed a second high efficiency central heating boiler.
- We have upgraded our Wi-Fi in all the serviced apartments on Regent Quay to the new 802.11n standard which offers up to 5 times the speed and twice the range of standard Wi-Fi. We have also installed additional boosters to improve signal strength further.
- Missing coat hangers. Not any more! Wooden coat hangers seemed to disappear very quickly! so we have now purchased permanently installed coat hangers for all bedrooms.
- Parking facilities. We have incorporated a map on our website that shows the location of the two car parks that are less than a minutes walk from the Regent Quay apartments.
- Install LED down lighters. We have trialled several types of LED bulb. All are too dim, although they do provide a nice Disco effect! We will keep our eye on the market and try new, brighter bulbs as they become available
- Improve our out-of-hours phone response with more on-duty management.
- Introduce real coffee and herbal teas on request.
- Writing paper in rooms. We now place writing paper and pens in all apartments.
- Finally, we have had a number of comments about the amount of wasted food. We are happy to announce that all wasted dry food (Bread, rolls, etc) is destined for free range chickens and ducks on the Logie Estate, Pitcaple.

Our History
City Wharf serviced apartments first Aberdeen property opened in a newly refurbished building that had lain derelict for over 40 years. The eight, one-bedroom apartments all have stunning views over Aberdeen Harbour. Behind the apartments is a three bedroom cottage, that had also lain empty and open to the elements for 40 years. The cottage has its own secluded garden that is an oasis of peace and tranquillity in the centre of a busy city.
Following the success of our first serviced apartments, we opened at two more sites in Aberdeen. The second is just along the road from the first on the Quayside of Aberdeen Harbour. The third site is about a mile away to the west.
